These terms

These terms form the agreement between you and Garden Harvest on Stone Street when you book a visit through this website. Ticking the box on the booking form means you accept them. If there is something here you are not happy with, please email info@garden-harvest.co.uk before you book.

What your booking covers

• One car and its driver, for a single time slot. The access charge shown at checkout includes VAT and is taken at the time of booking.
• Up to three companions, at no additional charge.
• A visit of 90 minutes, beginning at the start of your slot.

The access charge is for entry to the garden. It is not a deposit against produce and it is not deducted from what you pick.

Produce you pick

Everything you pick is weighed and paid for separately at the till before you leave. Prices are shown at the gate and on the day. Unprocessed produce is VAT-exempt.

Please pick only from the rows and beds that are open on the day. Staff will show you which those are when you arrive, and it changes week to week as the garden recovers.

Arriving and checking in

Check-in opens 30 minutes before your slot begins. You can check yourself in by holding the QR code from your confirmation email up to the scanner at the gate, or by typing the six-digit PIN printed alongside it.

If you arrive well outside your slot, a member of staff can still check you in at their discretion, provided the garden has room. We cannot guarantee it, so please do try to arrive on time.

Cancellations and refunds

• Cancel more than 24 hours before your slot begins and you receive a full refund, returned to the card you paid with.
• Cancel within 24 hours of your slot and the access charge is not refunded. The slot is held for you and cannot be resold at that notice.
• If you do not arrive, the access charge is not refunded.

You can cancel from the booking page linked in your confirmation email. To move a booking to a different slot, email us rather than cancelling — we will move it where we can.

Refunds are processed by Square and usually reach your account within five to ten working days.

If we cancel

Occasionally we have to close a slot — severe weather, ground conditions, or a crop that simply is not ready. If that happens we will contact you and refund the access charge in full. That refund is the limit of what we owe you; we cannot cover travel or other costs.

While you are in the garden

• Please follow the instructions of our staff at all times. They are there to keep both you and the garden safe.
• The ground is uneven and can be muddy. Sensible footwear is essential.
• Children must be supervised by an adult throughout the visit.
• We may ask anyone behaving unsafely, or damaging plants or property, to leave. In that case no refund is due.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Beyond that, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, nor for any business loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
