Stone Street, Kent

Our farm.

Garden Harvest is a farm on Stone Street, near Canterbury in Kent. It is shaped around the rhythm of the seasons — grown carefully, opened to limited numbers, and kept simple so each visit remains calm and well-spaced.

Everything here is grown to be taken fresh — picked by hand, in season, and ready for the kitchen. Visits are managed through advance booking with limited numbers at each time slot, so there is always space to move, choose carefully, and gather at your own pace.

N° 01 — The garden, by parts

Three spaces, one garden.

Each corner has its own character — from the open south field to the enclosed walled garden and the developing North Field orchard.

South Field

flowers, vegetables, the main picking

Seasonal flowers and vegetables form the main picking area. Blackberries are establishing here for next year’s harvest.

Walled Garden

strawberry walk, soft fruit, herbs

A more enclosed space with a strawberry walk, alongside asparagus and rhubarb planted for the coming season.

North Field Orchard

top fruit, herbs, hedgerows

Mainly top fruit — apples, pears, plums and more — with the first proper harvest expected next August. Sheep graze the east field beyond.

N° 02 — What we stand for

Three quiet principles.

How we farm, why we open to limited numbers, and what we want your visit to feel like.
i. Sustainably grown

No chemicals, no shortcuts.

Honest farming the way nature intended — working with the land, not against it. We rotate the beds, feed them with our own compost, and when something needs a spray it’s organic — vinegar and the like, never synthetic chemicals.

ii. Seasonally grown

Each crop in its right month.

We grow what the land wants, when the land wants it — never forced, always fresh.

iii. Farm to basket

From soil to kitchen, no middleman.

The fruit you carry home this afternoon was on the plant this morning. Pay only for what you pick, and weigh it on your way out — please don’t leave a trail of changed minds behind you.
