First stop on arrival. Pick up bags, baskets and snips — everything you need to harvest carefully.
Snips & staff
Use the snips we provide — they protect the plants so they keep producing. Staff in the garden steer you to beds that are ready.
Weigh & pay
On your way out, the cashier at the Welcome Tent weighs your produce. Card only — no cash.
No dogs
We're growing food for people, so dogs aren't allowed on site. Thanks for understanding.
Tasting, not picnics
A berry to try is part of the visit — but please don't graze. We grow it for everyone, not for filling up on the day. No outside food either.
Cancellations
Cancel up to 24 hours before your slot for a full refund. After that, bookings are non-refundable.

Still wondering about something? Here are the things visitors ask most.
Booking keeps the garden calm and uncrowded. We limit the site to ten vehicles per slot, which means there's always space to park, room between visitors as you pick, and very little traffic turning on or off Stone Street — which is busy at the best of times. Slots are how we keep the day a pleasant one for everyone.
Pop on your waterproofs. Light rain is no problem — the garden still looks lovely in the wet. Wellies or sturdy boots are your best bet.
If conditions are genuinely unsafe, we may cancel bookings — which is why we ask for your email address, so we can let you know and rebook you for another day at no extra charge. No refund needed; just pick a new slot.
Only bags and tools provided by us may be taken into the garden. This keeps the plants healthy and free from anything that could damage them. Everything you need is handed out at the Welcome Tent.
Head to the Welcome Tent first. We hand you bags, baskets, snips and a quick steer on what's ready to harvest today. Then off you go into the garden — staff are out there to help if you need pointing in the right direction.
Return to the Welcome Tent on your way out. The cashier weighs your produce and you pay by card — no cash. Compostable bags are included; large carrier bags are 20p if you need one.
A quick taste of a berry as you go is fine — please don't make a meal of it. The garden's there for everyone, and we ask people to put what they enjoy in the basket and pay for it on the way out. No outside food or picnics either — this is a working farm, not a picnic spot.
Sorry — no dogs. We're growing food for people, so we keep the garden a dog-free site. Service animals excepted; please get in touch in advance if that applies.
Yes. Our gardeners are out in the beds and happy to point you to whatever's ready, show you the right way to cut or pull, and answer questions. Just ask — that's what they're there for.
